Just some comments from the new owners of Gem Restaurant as we have just taken over from the last week in November 2011.

I hope everyone understands with a new business it takes a few weeks to get your feet under the table and have only just got access to the web site.We the new owners John and David and their partners Collette and Lynn have joined together to use our skills to bring an amazing run restaurant to Heswall.

The reasons why this will work is that John and Collette are very successful business people and after selling there last business to a PLC in 2008 could never find a really good place to eat and were fed up of going out and spending good money on mediocre food.So we decided to invest in our own restaurant to change that and contacted my brother Dave who has been a chef all over the world to see if he would run it he agreed. From then on we found Gem Restaurant and took over it and have great plans for the future.

We are now open but have got new plans for the building with a complete refurbishment once planning has been agreed.This should start about February 2012 and be finished a couple of months later.The restaurant will be of an English theme and will offer excellent quality food as our present customers have already found out. David is a very experienced chef, and we invite you to join us as you wont get food anywhere else as good.
